Result for the Dynamic with Fins Competition

On July 10th, Dynamic with Fins（dynamic）, a competition at the swimming pool, for "Freediving World Championships 2010 Okinawa" was held at outdoor pool in the Okinawa pre. General Sports Park(672 Hiyagon, Okinawa city, Okinawa prefecture). Dynamic is the competition to compete distance of diving underwater horizontally without breathing. 1 world record and 7 national records were established.

24 male athletes entered dynamic. Frédéric Sessa（France) established the world record with 255m. Jesper Stechmann and Rune Hallum（both Denmark) 229m, Mikko Pöntinen（Finland） 226m, and Bjarte Nygaard (Norway) established their national records with 220m. William Trubridge（New Zealand） 237m, Jakob Hansen（Denmark) 208m, and Katsuya Hamazaki(Japan) achieved 207m. 20 athletes succeeded the competition.
For female, Hanako Hirose (Japan) 177m, Andrea Kawabata(USA) 146m, and Alice Modolo(France) established the national record with 173m.

19 female athletes including Misuzu Hirai (Japan) 165m, Julie Gautier(France) 157m, and Barbora Ivanská(Czech) 156m entered dynamic. Although Natalia Molchanova from Russia (217m) and Aurore Asso from France swam, they were penalized for "grab", which is grabbing a rope or the edge of the swimming pool before emerging one's face from the surface of the water.
